Oberoi Realty has brought on board Samsung C&T Corporation as its general contractor for its ambitious mixed-use, high-rise luxury project in Worli, Mumbai. World’s tallest building coming to Saudi Arabia
Saudi billionaire Prince Alwaleed bin Talal signed a $1.23 billion contract with Bin Laden Group for the proposed tower, which will take just over five years to complete. The building is the centerpiece of the planned Kingdom City development being built outside Jeddah by Prince Alwaleed's Kingdom Holding.

Two towers designed by Chicago architects make a top-10 skyscraper list
One is the Burj Khalifa, by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and its former partner Adrian Smith, which came in second. The other is the Legacy at Millennium Park, by Solomon Cordwell Buenz, which finished sixth. Both were completed in 2010, the year in which buildings had to be finished to be considered for the list.
Dubai’s Burj Khalifa builder Emaar profit drops 69 percent on fewer home handovers, writedown
Emaar Properties said Tuesday it earned 250 million dirhams ($68.1 million) from April through June, compared with the 802 million dirhams booked in the same period a year earlier. This year’s figure includes a 172 million dirham charge to cover Emaar’s 30 percent stake in Dubai Bank.
