From Friday early morning, smartly-dressed job seekers of different nationalities poured in for walk-in interviews – even from other emirates – for the job of Customer Service Assistants at Emaar Retail LLC.
Burj Khalifa dominates realty deals
The largest residential real estate transaction in Dubai last year was registered in Burj Khalifa with the price topping Dh28 million, according to Reidin.com. The 11,355 square foot space was sold for Dh28.15 million, or Dh2,479 per square foot, in October 2011. The second largest transaction was again in Burj Khalifa, for a Dh7,910 square feet unit which was sold for Dh28 million, Dh3,910 per square feet, in February 2011.

Twitter rumour sparks Burj Khalifa fire scare
“There was no fire and no other accident at the Burj….heavy fog in the city gave the impression to many people that there was fire,” Colonel Ali Ghanem, head of Bur Dubai police station, said, quoted by Emirat Alyoum newspaper. Twitteratis, however, continue to tweet despite police denial of any fire at the world’s tallest tower in Dubai.
Design Days Dubai slated for March

He is Executive Chef at the exclusive ‘At.mosphere’ restaurant in Dubai, the highest restaurant in the world, 422 metres above the earth on the 122nd floor of the Burj Khalifa – the tallest building in the world. At At.mosphere, Dwayne’s responsibilities include creating menus and leading a team of 24 chefs.
Jiabao visits Burj Khalifa, Dragon Mart
Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao has toured Burj Khalifa and other tourist and business areas in Dubai. He climbed to the 124th floor in Khalifa Burj, where he viewed the landmarks of Dubai City, expressing his admiration about the progress of the UAE in general and Dubai in particular, thanks to the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
