And then there’s Bice Mare, the seafood sister of Dubai’s favourite and most trusted Italian eatery.
Stark white table cloths with perfectly set tableware, black and white photographs of glamorous screen legends and the light tinkling of ivories from a live pianist set the mood for an unforgettable dining experience. Begin with the Insalata Caprese, a fairly standard order that Bice Mare somehow manages to make extraordinary. A pyramid of buffalo mozarella and fresh tomatoes, topped with basil, olive oil and balsamic vinegar, the dish does well to get your tastebuds leaping with excitement.
Finish off the first course with the Roasted Sea Scallops for a europhic start. When it comes to the mains, it would make sense to stick with the seafood offerings. Choose between the Spaghetti alle Vongole (clams in garlic white wine) or the Pan Seared Sole Filet for a truly mouth watering experience. But for the carnivores that just can’t resist their meat, there’s always the Wagyu Tenderloin, cooked to perfection. And for the final act, there’s plenty to choose from in the way of sweet treats. While the traditional Tiramissu is to-diet-for, opt for the palette cleansing sorbet selection, and you’ll leave feeling fresh and perfectly full. Truly bellissimo!
