Burj’s observation deck could drop to 4th highest
The Burj Khalifa observation deck could soon drop to the position of world’s fourth highest, according to statistics received by Construction Week from Chicago-based world skyscraper authority, the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH). Emaar contends that it offers “the world’s highest observation deck with an outdoor terrace”.

The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat, based at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, is an international not-for-profit organization supported by architecture, engineering, planning, development and construction professionals, designed to facilitate exchanges among those involved in all aspects of the planning, design, construction and operation of tall buildings.
