As a foodie, there is nothing better in this world than eating gourmet cuisine and being as high as you can possibly be….up in the air. I’m talking about fine dining at the At.mosphere, the world’s highest restaurant in the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa skyscraper, which is a world-class destination and the magnificent centerpiece of Downtown Dubai.

Located on the 122nd floor, At.mosphere wears the crown for the tallest restaurant on Earth. The food is also quite affordable if you consider that a “nice lunch costing as little as $80 and dinner at $121” a person. Of course it’s cheap for someone who would even take a trip to visit the Burj Khalifa. I’m thinking if you’ve gone that far, what’s another $300 meal for two people sitting on top of the world? It’s an experience every food and height enthusiast should embrace and cherish. For the record, it is on my bucket list.

At.mosphere’s designer, Adam Tihany stated that the restaurant is supposed to be “a cave like space” that “makes you feel safe and elegant” when you’re up there. With 180-degree views visible from floor to ceiling high windows this place will make you feel like you went to heaven for a few hours for a delightful meal. However, I don’t recommend drinking too much because you’re likely to experience quite a lot of vertigo when you look down and see the bottom of the building you’re in seeming miles from where you are standing.
