A Birmingham designer – famed for crafting stilettos with sky-high prices – is on top of the world after his new elite furniture range was chosen for the world’s tallest building.
Dubai’s Burj Khalifa – all 2,722 towering feet of it – will feature “lounge jewellery” created by Chris Shellis, boss of Birmingham super-chic fashion house House of Borgezie.
The 48-year-old has already caused a stir by crafting stilettos for the decidedly well-heeled at £200,000 a pair.
More recently he unveiled a clutchbag and matching belt, both costing an eye-watering £105,000.
Now Chris, from Aston, has ventured into furniture, producing stainless steel tables and chairs that follow the tried and trusted Borgeize template.
