The recently opened At.mosphere restaurant on the 122nd floor of Burj Khalifa in Dubai — billed as the highest restaurant in the world — could be exported to other major cities.

According to executive chef Dwayne Cheer, the concept from Emaar Hospitality Group’s (EHG) Lifestyle Dining division is not a one-off.

“If we’re successful, which we are so far, [it could be replicated] — but success is only measured by time,” said Cheer.

“If we get a year under our belt and we’re hugely successful and somebody asks us to create it somewhere else of course for us, for EHG, it would be a great thing to roll out.

“It’s a brand that is transferrable, so you could take it to Shanghai or Hong Kong possibly,” he added.

Cheer said that since opening business had been “non-stop”, with dinner service fully booked for the next two weeks.
