The 396 bedroom Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel, Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts' latest five-star property in Dubai, will debut at this year's ITB travel show in Berlin one of the world's leading travel trade shows. The hotel believes it has the perfect blend of features to attract even the most discerning European leisure visitors.

Palazzo Versace Dubai, the AED2.3bn ($626m) hotel and residences branded by the Italian fashion house, has sold 80 percent of its units, the developer behind the venture has said. Emirates Sunland Group, a joint venture between the UAE’s Emirates International Holdings and Australian-based Sunland Group Limited, also said construction on the luxury property is more than 80 percent complete.

The site sourced more than 1,500 local user reviews to rank the best eateries, night clubs, bars and coffee shops in the Gulf state.

The Arabic themed Saray Spa, Marriott’s exclusive new spa brand, has opened its inaugural space at the Dubai Marriott Harbour hotel. The spa brand — which uses Arabic ingredients in treatments — will be rolled out across Marriott hotels in the Middle East and Africa over the next four years.

The New Season restaurant at the City Seasons Suites Dubai launches a new dining concept this month with the re-launch of its all-day dining outlet.
