One of the first new serviced hotels in Dubai to complete will be Burjside Boulevard in the Burj Area with enviable views over the world's tallest tower and world's largest mall. Developed by DAMAC Properties, the region's largest luxury private developer, the 50-storey tower is set to begin handover later this year.

Top-end hotels like JW Marriot, Hyatt Regency, Park Regis Kin, Al Bustan Rotana, Kempinski Mall of Emirates, Crowne Plaza Hotel, Grand Millennium and Samaya are offering exclusive DSF three-night packages for Dh2,479 per person (on twin sharing basis) and Dh4,037 per person (on single occupancy).

This never-seen-before spectacle created especially for Emaar and The Centre of Now by a world class team of professionals and creatives. It is a multimedia extravaganza including a 210 metre long seamless projection screen along with 10 water platforms with semi-transparent screens and in total 79 live performers from around the world.

The Address, Emaar’s hotel management company, operates five hotels owned by the Dubai-based parent company in the city. Hotel occupancy rates in the Dubai averaged 75 percent in 2012, among the highest in the world, after conflicts elsewhere in the Middle East and North Africa drove more Gulf tourists to the emirate, according to STR Global.

The Address Downtown Dubai, the flagship hotel of The Address Hotels + Resorts, the hotel brand owned by Emaar Hospitality Group, has been chosen as the 'Best Hotel in the World' at the Global Traveler Annual Reader Survey Awards for the second consecutive year. Global Traveler is a monthly magazine for business and luxury travellers, and in this year's annual reader survey, more than 28,000 people - mostly frequent premium travellers - took part to determine the best in some 70 travel-related categories.

The much anticipated fireworks display that will illuminate the night sky from the Burj Khalifa to usher in 2013 will be synchronised with live orchestral music. Following its spectacular New Year’s Eve gala in 2010 and 2011, Emaar Properties, the event’s host, will hold its third New Year fireworks display synchronised and choreographed to a live performance from the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra on December 31.

Emaar Properties PJSC (EMAAR), the developer of the world’s tallest tower in Dubai, obtained a $500 million loan from a group of banks to develop a mixed-use project in Turkey, its second such venture in the country.
