The Armani Hotel Dubai will no doubt be the most popular hotel in the UAE and the Middle East. The hotel is located at Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest tower and the most remarkable landmark of the 21st century. Being Emaar's flagship project, it is the bonfire to tourists and one of the most prestigious square kilometers of the world.

As Van der Werf notes: “It’s beautiful to do the Armani Hotel in the Burj Khalifa, which took a lot of effort, but we should never forget that we can serve our four-star hotels at least as well and as efficiently”.

The first of two fashion-brand hotels to open this year in Dubai (there's also a Palazzo Versace in the pipeline), the Armani Hotel will take up floors five to eight and two higher levels of the Burj Khalifa. Don't expect anything here to be done on a subtle scale – 160 rooms and suites (all furnished with signature Armani/ Casa designs), Armani/Dolci artisan confectionery, Armani/Fiori bespoke flower arrangements, an Armani/Privé nightclub and a spa will all be part of the operation when it opens next month.

The much-anticipated opening of the Armani Hotel in the Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building, has been delayed by more than a month, UAE daily the National reported on Monday, citing a source familiar with the matter. The opening ceremony of the Italian designer's first hotel will now take place on April 22, instead of March 18, due to unfinished work, the newspaper said, adding that it will open to the public two days later.

Giorgio Armani’s first hotel, due to open in Dubai’s Burj Khalifa today, will be delayed by more than a month, said two people with knowledge of the plan. The luxury hotel, occupying 10 floors of the world’s tallest building, is now scheduled to open on April 22, said the people, who declined to be identified because there hasn’t been an official announcement.

Armani Hotel Dubai has started taking bookings ahead of its official opening on March 18. Room categories available at the 160-room property include 24 Armani Studios, 44 Armani Classic rooms, 38 Armani Premiere rooms, 36 Armani Suites, six Armani Executive and six Armani Ambassador Suites, and five Armani Signature Suites. The hotel will also feature eight restaurants, the region’s first and only Armani/Privé club, the world’s first in-hotel Armani/SPA, plus Armani/Dolci a chocolate and sweets store, the Armani/Fiori flower shop and accessories outlet Armani/Galleria.

The much-anticipated Armani Hotel Dubai will miss its scheduled opening date for a second time, Arabian Business has learned. The luxury hotel, housed in Dubai’s Burj Khalifa, was scheduled to open on March 18 but the launch ceremony has now been pushed back to April 22, a source confirmed.

Deborah Staines, Residential Sales Consultant, Head Office, Better Homes, told Emirates Business: "We estimate that around 70 per cent of the apartments in Downtown Dubai are occupied, though we understand that demand exceeds supply within the development. Occupancy has definitely increased since rentals have became more affordable."

Iconic fashion designer Giorgio Armani has said he is nervous his first hotel project, which will be located in the base of Dubai’s Burj Khalifa, may look outdated when officially opened later this month. “I’ve been working on this for five years. I’m finally going to see what I designed, and it’s a bit nerve-racking to think that what I liked five years ago might look old now,” the Italian designer told US-based fashion trade publication Woman’s Wear Daily at the weekend.

Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, is readying to welcome its first residents, with Emaar Properties currently conducting an orientation programme for Armani Residences homeowners. Although the interiors of the Armani Residences and The Residences in the Burj Khalifa are still in their final stages, Emaar said that the work is progressing at a fast pace.
