Emaar Properties and the Armani Group Tuesday said the world's second Armani hotel would officially open for business on November 10 in Milan, Italy. The duo opened its flagship Armani Hotels and Resorts in Dubai's Burj Khalifa in April last year.

Armani, which also designed residences in Burj Khalifa in Dubai is setting up its first-ever gallery in India on the World One premises in Lower Parel. And, to announce the studio’s impending arrival, the developer is offering a select group of potential buyers the opportunity to book flats and get furniture from the studio for a single room complimentary, up to September 15.

Emaar owns and manages a portfolio of assets such as the Address hotel brands, serviced residences, golf resorts and the Dubai Marina and yacht club. It also has an agreement with Armani to own and run its branded hotels.

Forget the Empire State building. It is so embarrassingly short. The Burj Khalifa in Dubai is "The Tallest Building in the World." The skyscraper is 2,716.5 feet tall. It is more than 160 stories high. It is, as the building's website touts, the "Tallest of the Supertall."

The property prepared a sumptuous dinner for the group from Russia who visited Dubai for a seven-day tour of the city. The group visited Dubai’s main attractions such as Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, Souk Madinat, Burj Al Arab, Jumeirah Beach and other touristic places.

The iftar at Armani Hotel Dubai's Mediterraneo is unique not least because it is in the iconic Burj Khalifa, but because of the experience. Few restaurants in the city offer such expansive views of the Dubai Fountain.

With stock markets around the world rising on news of a bailout for the Greek economy, World Travel Awards has been quick to point out the vital role of travel and tourism in re-establishing macro-economic stability across Europe. The Europe Ceremony marks the second heat of World Travel Awards 2011 Grand Tour, and follows the opening leg in the Middle East, hosted at Armani Hotel Dubai in May.

For example, Versace has launched its Palazzo Versace hotel brand in Australia’s Gold Coast and in Dubai, while Armani Hotels & Resorts are currently present in Dubai and Milan. Bulgari Hotels & Resorts said it is currently “considering many opportunities” for future projects.
