The Webb Ellis Cup made its way to the top of the Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building in Dubai yesterday. The iconic building stands at 828m, which is just a bit taller than Sydney's Rugby Club, the venue where the Cup will beam brightly today at a huge luncheon.

Cultural Engineering, the body behind this philanthropic venture, also founded Shelter and Brownbook, the former a community hub and the latter a magazine.

Atmosphere’s sumptuously decorated interiors by renowned hotel designer Adam Tihany feature warm mahogany walls and ceilings with a high gloss finishing, Tihany furniture, hand-tufted carpet and floors of cafe au lait colored limestone. Such rich decor echoes the divine nature of this epitome of gourmet heaven.

The name “Atmosphere” refers to the height of the restaurant’s location; it is stationed so high on top the Burj Khalifa that it is, metaphorically, in atmosphere. A visit to this unique and special lounge resulted in gourmet bar food, excellent service, and of course, an outstanding selection of specialty beverages.
