"Vacancies will continue to rise across the Dubai market in the short term, as the level of office stock increases ahead of demand," the property consultancy firm said in a report. Demand for office space in Dubai is centered on two locations, it says: the financial district, which includes the Dubai International Finance Center and Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest tower, and the TECOM freezone, which includes Media City and Internet City.

The Women Committee, Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) has recently held a unique entertainment tour for as many as 120 RTA female employees and wives of RTA employees, to the top of Burj Khalifa during which they enjoyed a thrilling sky-high view of the Dubai City from the tallest man-made structure in the planet. The tour, which will remain live in the memories of all participants, included taking a lunch high in the sky, attending water shows, a tour of the tower and taking memorable photos.

The mastermind behind the LEGO Architecture: Towering Ambition exhibit is Adam Reed Tucker, a trained architect and longtime LEGO enthusiast. He began experimenting with LEGOs as a medium for his art back in 2003, and the result is nothing short of spectacular: 15 famous buildings made entirely from LEGO bricks.

The 92-storeyed multi-purpose structure will include restaurants, offices, shopping malls, residential apartments and waste-water treatment and desalinization plants. It will be standing 370 meters and is designed to have a double-skinned glass facade mechanism with white silk-screened window system.

And we say these because the plan is to rise a tower over a kilometer tall, measuring in at 1,400 meters to put Burj Khalifa to shame. But the great news doesn’t stop here, this ultimate building construction is actually part of a even greater plan than this. With more than 200 floors, the tower will stand higher than the Burj Khalifa, which is currently the world's tallest man-made structure at 828m. The city itself, part of a larger, multi-billion-dollar project to develop Jeddah, is set to cover an area of 23 million m2 and provide a mixture of luxury homes, hotels and offices.

The 500-acre urban development is anchored by Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building, and also features the Dubai Mall, the world's largest shopping and entertainment destination. It includes business, residential, hospitality and leisure properties.

Aside from the Burj Khalifa Tower in Dubai, the world’s tallest building that houses hotels and shopping destinations, Dubai is planning to build a new skyscraper with the construction of “The Wave Tower.” But this seacraper, coined due to its proposed proximity to the city’s waterfront area, is going to be a lot greener than Burj Khalifa.

While one of the first designer hotels — the Palazzo Versace — opened in Australia’s Gold Coast 10 years ago, this May saw the opening of the Armani Hotel at Dubai’s Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. While Dubai may be known for its excesses, a lesser known Irish city, Galway, is also celebrating a new addition to their landscape — celebrity hat-maker Philip Treacy’s The G Hotel.
