As the city of KidZania grows, so do the activities for children. Similar to real life cities, KidZania, the unique children’s edutainment centre at The Dubai Mall, has expanded to match its growing popularity, with the addition of four new ‘professions’ enabling children to work as car designers, soda specialists, IT developers, and milk manufacturers.
Young visitors can customize their own Camaro at the Chevrolet Car Design and Sales Center, produce and bottle soda at the Coca-Cola Bottling Plant, design IT gadgets at the HP Creative Studio and work hands-on to make delicious flavoured milk at the Lacnor Milk Factory.
Mr. Will Edwards, Governor, KidZania Dubai, welcomes the new partners to KidZania and thanks them for extending the opportunity for children to learn about their business activities.

The introduction of the four new professions will open new windows of learning for children.”
The Chevrolet Car Design and Sales Center at KidZania will serve as a perfect spot for car loving youngsters. They can customize their own Camaro – working on all aspects from painting to engine specifications, tyres, tail pipes and gears. As they leave the establishment, they will take away a print out of their proud creation.
The Coca-Cola Bottling Plant activity teaches the process of bottling Coca-Cola, including the pre-forms that these bottles go through. Children take part in hot air injection into stainless steel molds shaped like a bottle, check the purity of the bottles, fill them, place them in sterilizing machine, and take to a band where they are filled with soda, capped and ready for use.
Tech-savvy kids get to choose a character they aspire to be, at the HP Creative Studio. From Pilot to Fashion Designer, they have to use a fixed amount of kidZos, to design a computer for their character. They will be able to choose the components in the software, test on some machines, log the results in the computer and see if their creation fits the purpose.
At the Lacnor Milk Factory, children learn how to make flavoured milk by mixing chocolate, banana and strawberry flavours to the milk. The mixed liquid is then poured into the processing machine. Once the flavoured milk is ready, it is transferred to the respective packs for the packaging process. As they leave the establishment, they will take away their own Lacnor flavoured milk pack.
KidZania is the first of its kind edutainment concept in the entire region, and offers children the opportunity to understand and appreciate different professions through a hands-on approach. The leisure attraction is located on the second floor of The Dubai Mall.
In addition to KidZania, Emaar Retail LLC manages a strong portfolio of exclusive leisure and retail concepts including Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo featuring over 33,000 aquatic animals and the world’s largest acrylic viewing panel; the Olympic-sized Dubai Ice Rink; Reel Cinemas, the UAE largest megaplex with 22-screens; and the region’s largest SEGA indoor theme park, SEGA Republic – all in The Dubai Mall. Reel Cinemas also recently introduced the first ‘premier’ Cineplex at Dubai Marina Mall.
