Spring Festival light show ignites Dubai’s Burj Khalifa

As millions around the world prepare to welcome the Chinese New Year, celebrations are lighting up cities far beyond China’s borders.

All the way in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, the iconic skyline once again became part of the festivities, as the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, joined in sending Spring Festival greetings. The towering skyscraper was transformed into a canvas of light and motion, blending this year’s zodiac sign – the horse – with the Chinese lucky red and the call of spring.
